About our AIM Founders

Mark A. Iacobelli DDS, FAGD, FICD, MIIF

Dr. Mark A. Iacobelli completed his undergraduate studies focused on typical pre-dental curriculum as well as business courses aimed at an accounting degree at The Ohio State University. He was admitted to dental school prior to completion of the accounting tract and graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1982. Since then he has acquired and maintained his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry by completing numerous hours of continuing education. This has been highlighted by completing multi-year post-graduate programs in orthodontics, neuromuscular and TMD treatments for jaw and head pain, esthetic and cosmetic dentistry, implant placement and restoration, and a one-year program for intravenous conscious sedation including Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. Iacobelli has also received his Fellowship from the International College of Dentists and the Midwest Implant Institute

He was a past president and board of directors member of the Midwest Implant Institute Fellows. The Straight Wire Orthodontic Studies Organization has recognized Dr. Iacobelli for his commitment to continuing education in orthodontics, TMD treatment, and neuromuscular dentistry.

He has lectured nationally and internationally for Advanced Implant Mentoring, The Center for Occlusal Studies, The Midwest Implant Institute Fellows, Jamison Consulting of Florida, The Academy of General Dentistry, OCO Biomedical, Dentatus International, Henry Schein Surgical Solutions, and The Camlog Corporation.  He is passionate about the field of implant dentistry and is committed to expanding the knowledge of professionals as well as lay people alike in this area.

Dr. Iacobelli is the co-founder of Advanced Implant Mentoring (AIM)

Dr. Iacobelli has maintained a full time, fee for service private practice in Canton, Ohio from graduation until 1986, and since then in suburban Cleveland, Ohio.

On a personal note, Dr. Mark, his wife Linda, and three sons live and remain active in the community of Brecksville, Ohio. Away from the office, Dr. Mark enjoys coaching baseball, is a tribe chief in the Native Sons & Daughters, and participates with the St. Basil the Great Honduran Mission Team.  He and his family are avid sports fans and enjoy watching sporting events associated with any of his alma maters (Padua Franciscan High School, The Ohio State University, Case Western Reserve University) or any the hometown teams of Cleveland, Ohio.
