Robert D’Orazio, DDS, FAGD, DABOI/ID

Dr. Rob D’Orazio is a 1984 graduate of the University of Detroit, School of Dentistry. In 1987, he obtained a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1991, Dr. D’Orazio completed a two year dental implant externship in Columbus, Ohio, which included certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and intravenous conscious sedation training. In 1992, he achieved Fellowship status in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In 1993, he was inducted as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry.

Over the years Dr. Rob D’Orazio has shared his dental implant expertise in various capacities

From 1989 – 1993, he was the President and Board Member of the Midwest Implant Institute Fellowship.  In 1994, he was the Central District President of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.  In 1999, he was Program Chairman for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry’s Annual International Meeting.

Dr. D'Orazio is the Co-Founder of Advanced Implant Mentoring (AIM)

Dr. D’Orazio has lectured on the subject of implant dentistry in Canada, Mexico and the United States. He has published articles on implant dentistry and is currently a review board member for the Journal of Oral Implantology.

Dr. Rob D’Orazio continues to maintain a referral-based implant dental practice in Sterling Heights, MI.
